The lure of the seemingly unattainable can be so strong.

Relationships can start out with a deep desire

for the privilege of a lifetime spent with the person of our dreams.

Difficulties can come along and cause us to forget the affections that stirred our hearts in the beginning. At this point it can be tempting to give up on our relationships,

rather than realise that the wife of our youth is really our angel at home.

 

 

I’d make up excuses to walk by your lane

I noticed you sitting by the window pane
