Love Never Fails

Album Lyrics

Poem Of Lost Love

There is a strong emotion

I'll try to put to words,

a story of deepest tragedy,

the tale about a girl.

She was like the morning sun to me

that sparkled in the rain.

Like flowers in the desert,

life after years of pain.

She never knew I loved her,

she never realised.

I'd never the chance to tell her

before the day she died.

And now I don't know what to do

I cannot tell her how

my love would last a lifetime...

but it's no use crying now.

I wish I could fly to heaven for just a day or so...

I would give her a tender, crimson rose.

And I would tell her I loved her,

that she meant the world to me.

But because she isn't there anymore

the world is just an empty sea.

I know that she's in heaven

and God is with her there.

But still I don't understand it all,

it doesn't seem quite fair.

I'm glad to know she's happy there,

I can see her begin to smile.

And all I can do is wonder...

did she love me too?
