A Place For Me

Many of us dream of a better place, one that is far removed from the grief, heartache,

depression and pain we experience in this world. Does such a place exist outside of our dreams?

The Bible says that we who believe in Jesus will inherit eternal life

in a place where there is no more crying, sickness or pain.

The streets will be gold and the sea like crystal.

God himself will wipe away our tears and we will worship him forever!

 

 

In my dreams I wake under skies of crystal

They steal my breath away

The colours dance and laugh in a dazzling brilliance

Day after perfect day

 

In my dreams I’ve known love that’s everlasting

Joy that will never fade

Hope so strong, so firm, so completely fearless…

It made my spirit soar

 

Do you think that there is such a place that I could call my own?

Is it only in my dreams or could this place become my home?

Peace for my mind, rest for my soul

Do you think that there is such a place for me?

 

In my dreams I’ve stood as the winds of freedom

Blew away my inmost flaw

Where the clouds of night, part with the light

Forgiveness came and conquered all
