hope has come

Problems in life can go on for so long that we forget the time they didn’t exist.

It can feel so completely overwhelming but what do we do? Sometimes we build a tough exterior.

We seem okay to everyone around us but we know inside that we could fall apart at any time.

While He was on earth, Jesus knew every pain we could ever go through and much more.

The Bible says that He was despised, rejected and misunderstood and went though absolute agony at the cross.

Isaiah 53:4 (YLT) says: “Surely our sicknesses he has borne, And our pains -- he hath carried them...” .

He knows how we feel and has the power to do something about it!

 

 

To every life a little rain must fall

But now and then a flood destroys it all

Your fragile hope is fading like the sun

The darkest part is just before the dawn

 

There’s a light in your darkness

A joy in your pain

There is One who can give you inner peace

When you fall down or lose your way

Just remember that there’s a Saviour…

Hope has come

 

And no one knows, your closest friends can’t tell

Your smile is forced, you cover up so well

You camouflage the cracks that start to show

You feel so numb but that is all you know

 

But there is One whose greater than the pain

And there is One who died and rose again!

 

Hope! Hope! Hope has come!
